RETURN POLICY EFFECTIVE 1/1/2011

  • A return request must be made through our website in order to receive a RMA number and instructions
  • Returns are only available 10 days after the product has been received
  • Damaged and missing merchandise must be reported within 7 days of delivery
  • Returns must be shipped to our warehouse no more than 10 days after you receive your RMA number from Holiday Projectors
  • 14 days after your RMA number is sent, your return number is no longer valid and your return will not be accepted
  • Holiday Projectors does not pre-pay for shipping back to our warehouse. We will issue a credit for shipping to your credit card once we receive and inspect the return 
  • If an item is deemed defective, we will replace it or offer a store credit for the amount of the item
  • Returns must be received undamaged and in the original packaging in re-sellable condition
  • Refunds will be issued to the purchaser in the original form of payment
  • All delivery refusals, replacement refusals, and non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee
  • Refunds include the purchase price and tax (if applicable)
  • Shipping and handling charges are not refundable
  • Merchandise damaged due to shipping must be reported immediately so a claim can be filed with the freight company
Unfortunately if your item breaks down after the return period from normal use you will not be able to return it. Most items have a manufacturers warranty that will follow our return period. You will need to contact them if appropriate. We cannot accept items back outside of our return period since we do not know the elements in which the item was put to use in.

Why do we have restocking fees? The reason is simple: To keep costs  (and thus prices) down when dealing with the return of items that are not defective. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order and then a return of that order, not to mention all the credit card transaction fees incurred with each transaction.

Why do we only offer replacements or store credit on defective merchandise? The reason is simple: Unfortunately people abuse the system by intentionally damaging an item so they do not have to pay a restocking fee. We have actually received numerous items back with labels from other stores/sellers from sellers trying to game the system. Our policy is the only way we can discourage this practice. We apologize for having to protect ourselves to this extent but we have learned the hard way.


Attention Please!

Any credit card chargeback instigated by the customer without contacting us first will be voided and the transaction will be treated as fraudulent. Our merchant providers have our policy terms on file and will refund accordingly. Credit card fraud is a serious crime and we do not tolerate it.



We will do everything we can to provide you, our customer, with the very best product, price and service. We will go the extra mile in trying to satisfy your needs but please try and help us by being patient and courteous when doing so; it makes it more pleasant for everyone involved!
